Helping your child find their voice
Individualized speech and language therapy that meets your child right where they are, from first sounds to full sentences.
Not sure if it's time for an evaluation?
Tap what sounds familiar. Every child develops differently, but these are common signs worth a closer look.
Lack of gestures
Not using gestures like waving or pointing by 12 months can be an early communication signal.
Limited vocabulary
Saying fewer than 50 words by age 2 may point to a language delay worth evaluating.
Speech clarity
If unfamiliar listeners struggle to understand your child, a speech clarity check can help.
Following directions
Trouble following simple two-step directions can point to receptive language needs.
Fluency
Stuttering, blocks, or hesitations in speech flow are worth a professional look.
Social skills
Difficulty engaging with peers or reading social cues can connect back to communication skills.
This list isn't exhaustive. If something feels off, trust that instinct and reach out.

Meet our providers
Kelsey Sullins
Kelsey is a pediatric speech-language pathologist who was born and raised in St. Louis. Her husband's military service took the family through a range of pediatric settings, including homes, preschools, clinics, and elementary schools, before they returned to St. Louis with their two daughters.
She holds a master's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Wichita State University and has spent the last seven years focused on early intervention, including work with children on the autism spectrum. Her play-based approach centers on building a child's communication and confidence while giving parents tools they can use at home.

Madeline Synder
Madeline has practiced as a pediatric speech-language pathologist since 2019 and is originally from the St. Louis area. She earned her master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Southeast Missouri State University and has worked in preschools, pediatric outpatient clinics, and early intervention through Missouri First Steps.
She believes communication challenges affect the whole family, not just the child, and focuses on building relationships with families as a way to help kids grow their skills.

Natalie Carr
Natalie has practiced as a speech-language pathologist since 2021 and earned her master's degree from Saint Louis University. She's originally from St. Louis and has a strong interest in early intervention, augmentative and alternative communication, and articulation therapy.
She finds it rewarding to help children build the confidence to express themselves, whether through speech, language, or alternative communication methods, and she works to keep every session supportive and tailored to the child in front of her.

Annamarie Tucker
Annamarie is originally from Atlanta and earned her master's degree from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Knoxville. She later settled in St. Louis, where she now supports children with speech sound disorders, language delays, AAC, social communication, Childhood Apraxia of Speech, and feeding challenges across clinic-based and in-home settings.
Her care is neurodiversity-affirming and child-led, built around meeting each child where they are and celebrating progress along the way.
