Helping your child build a positive relationship with food
Personalized nutrition support from a Registered Dietitian, from picky eating and food allergies to feeding challenges and medical needs.
What does a pediatric dietitian do?
Every child is unique, and so is the way they eat, grow, and experience food. A pediatric dietitian looks at the whole picture, including your child's medical history, feeding background, and your family's routines, then offers personalized guidance that blends evidence-based care with warmth and compassion.
We focus on small, realistic goals that can become everyday habits, rather than big changes that are hard to sustain. When it's helpful, we also work alongside our occupational therapists and speech-language pathologists so your child gets well-rounded support, especially for feeding challenges. Our goal is simple: helping your child get balanced nutrition and build a positive relationship with food that lasts.
What brings families to us
Tap anything that sounds familiar. Every child's relationship with food is different, and these are some of the reasons parents reach out.
Picky or selective eating
Maybe your child eats a very short list of foods, or mealtimes have become a daily battle. We help you find small, realistic steps forward.
Feeding & sensory challenges
Children with autism, ADHD, sensory differences, or developmental delays sometimes experience food in unique ways. We tailor support to how your child eats.
Food allergies & sensitivities
Avoiding certain foods can make it hard to know if your child is getting what they need. We help you keep meals safe, balanced, and varied.
GI concerns & tube feeding
Reflux, chronic constipation, motility issues, or tube feeding can make nutrition feel complicated. We'll help you navigate it with confidence.
Medical conditions
Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, heart conditions, epilepsy, and genetic conditions can all shape a child's nutrition needs. We build a plan around your child.
Growth questions
Whether your child was born early, isn't growing as expected, or their doctor has raised weight concerns, we focus on supporting healthy growth without shame.
This list isn't exhaustive. If something about your child's eating or growth feels off, trust that instinct and reach out.

Christy Frantz
Christy is a proud native Texan who has lived overseas and in the Northeast before moving to St. Louis in 2025 with her husband as new empty nesters. She earned her bachelor's degree in Nutritional Sciences from Texas A&M University and began practicing pediatric nutrition in 2001 at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP), where her passion for working with kids took root. After spending eight years at home raising her two children, she returned to pediatric nutrition in 2012 with a new perspective shaped by motherhood.
Christy focuses on small, realistic goals that become part of a child's everyday routine, rather than big goals that are hard to sustain. She values working alongside occupational therapists and speech-language pathologists to give each child well-rounded support. Her experience with children from birth to 18 includes Down syndrome, autism, cerebral palsy, genetic conditions, heart conditions, epilepsy, tube feeding, GI conditions like reflux and constipation, food aversions and allergies, picky eating, prematurity, prenatal substance exposure, and growth concerns. Outside of work, she loves time with family, friends, and pets, and traveling anywhere with a mountain view.
